Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is the brand ambassador of WWF’s ‘World Earth Hour 2011’. Last year, Abhishek Bachchan was with it. The ‘World Earth Hour’, this year will be celebrated on 26th March, Saturday at 8.30 p.m. Earth Hour 2011 aims to show the actions that people, businesses and governments, world-wide are taking to reduce their environmental impact.
“I am delighted to be part of Earth Hour and support the cause of climate change. WWF’s Earth Hour has created awareness on this important issue. It is inspiring to see how just by switching off lights for an hour we can support this cause,” Vidya said reporters.
The Ishquia star has urged Indians not just to switch off lights during WWF’s ‘World Earth Hour 2011’ campaign, but to go beyond the hour and protect the earth from climate change.
Vidya looked stunning in a multi-color suit for the event.
