When filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma chose to movie the notorious Neeraj Grover murder case, it was something that his followers as well as critics could stomach.
Afterward, he stunned everyone by naming the murder mystery as ‘A Love Story’. However, he argued that since the killing took place out of love he has named it so. There were few buyers to this explanation but the latest development in the story is a shocker.
So as to make the movie look close to the reality, he spoke to the people from both the parties and drafted the details of the incident. But, to make it look genuine he has scheduled a shoot in the flat, where Maria Susairaj and her beau Emile Jerome Mathew killed, chopped and set ablaze Neeraj Grover.

ReplyDeleteIt takes guts to make a film which is so sensitive...
RGV, would you care to understand the psychology of the killers and make a film on them if they murdered one of your family members? SHAME ON U!! I hope mumbai film industry abandon you for ur guts and shameless publicity stunts.
ReplyDeleteRGV becoming lunatic day by day shame on u. soon we will make a movie how u became lunatic
ReplyDeleteIT IS NOT A LOVE STORY ---- It is not RGV who is committing a crime nor he is making anything other than what Media already has done.
ReplyDeleteSo much we already have had in so called NEWS, that we can visualise all ghoulIsh details without waiting for RGV's film.
It is about three characters, who have no criminal records, living free as birds, and found themself destined to a brutal crime.
What nobody seems concerned about is falling standard of morality and society norms.
Had the characters of this story have been living according to the norms of our civilized society, this crime would not have taken place at all.
Thats what a sensitive film-maker like RGV narrates. That's all he do.
It is strange peoples condemning RGV for making a film and showing sympathy for the victim.
I don't like to waste my sympathy for a person who lived an immoral life and never cared about the society norms and ultimately harvested, what he sowed.
I don't think it is a bad idea. Nowadays filmmakers are into making movies which are as close to reality as possible. My best wishes to RGV on his next movie.
