Sonakshi Sinha confesses to being "heartened and flattered" that top drawer brands have recognized her potential, offering her lucrative deals in the process. What's unlikely to slip past her cannily colored lips is the glee she must have bagged at having "replaced" Salman Khan's "former protégé" … a certain Katrina Kaif in at least three ace ad commercials.
Even as she goes on to pocket Big Money in back to back deals in the endorsement kingdom, Sonakshi has ventured into Kat's space and wrested away ad cachet that was rightfully hers previously. For Katrina, the maiden ad casualty was a top soap brand; the second being a designer label that's quite in vogue and the third on the anvil, reportedly, is a shampoo brand that Katrian Kaif is identical with.
Unsurprisingly, Sonakshi Girl has been making the right sounds about "not replacing anyone" and asserting to media types at large that "I'm just filling a space that's been empty for long."
Khan's new favourite who will share cine frames with him in 'Dabangg 2', 'Kick' and 'Partner 2' too, does not forget to inform scribes that there's no ill will between Katrina and her.
Sonakshi tells in a magazine quote, "I've met Katrina a few times and we do not discuss things like ad deals. Katrina has been around for a while and I do really hope that I'll be where she is soon."
In the meantime, the newbie has expressed glee over the fact that ace companies have reposed faith in her potential to "reach out to their respective target groups."
Guess, What is Katrina thinking about the same…
