Salman could face the sentence of 10 years in jail?

A hit-and-run case, in which Salman is accused of ramming his SUV into a bakery, killing one person and injuring four others, is back to haunt the actor. He was and still is booked for rash and negligent driving under Section 304 (A) of Indian Penal Code (IPC). If found guilty under this section, he faces a jail term of two years.
But now, the prosecution has told a local court that Bollywood actor Salman Khan should be tried for more serious charge of ‘culpable homicide not amounting to murder’ in a hit-and-run case in 2002, under Section 304 II of the IPC. Under this section, Salman could face the maximum sentence of 10 years in jail if found guilty.
It’s so sad, Salman’s trouble with the law doesn’t end here. The actor still has a case pending against him in the high court for poaching black bucks in Mathiana, near Jodhpur.
