The movie Iti Mrinalini (The Unfinished Letter) is an autobiographical work based on the life of actress Mrinalini Mitra who is hounded by the media and treated shabbily by the man in her life. Konkana Sen Sharma, as the young Mitra, enjoys considerable screen time in a role that is emotionally more challenging than Sen’s, who plays the older Mitra.
