Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor may have kissed and made up, but Anushka-Sonakshi’s recent cold wars are the latest chitchat in B’Town.
Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Sharma may well be ready to get their claws out to fight over Ranveer Singh. The Band Baaja Baraat girl may be adamant that her co-star and she are only 'good friends yet when it came to Ranveer’s new found friendship with Sonakshi, Anushka was certainly displeased.
This entire cold war between to two young beauties started when Sonakshi quite openly confirmed on Koffee with Karan, that she would love to work with Ranveer. The BBB girl's anxiety was driven by the fact that her co-star mentioned on the same talk show that he finds Sonakshi hot. Anushka cattily told host Karan Johar that she could have Ranveer if she wanted.
To add more fuel to the fire, on the night of the Dadasabeb Phalke Awards, Ranveer chose to sit along with Sonakshi and her mom Poonam Sinha.
It absolutely did not end there. The Dabangg girl and the BBB actor met at a Pg3 party a and they spent quite a lot of time chatting with each other.
It seems that Sonakshi has also been praising Ranveer to her friends and has apparently suggested Ranveer to her producer friends and has expressed her wish to be cast opposite him.
Anushka didn't take it kindly and has started talking against Shotgun's daughter to her circle of friends, at every possibility she got.
When asked about being upset with Sonakshi because she's been asking directors to cast Ranveer in their movies opposite Sonakshi, Anushka replies coldly, "I don't like to or encourage my friends to talk about other actors male or female. I am here in the industry to do work and mind my own business and expect the same from other people”.
A close insider of Sonakshi tells, "Sonakshi has no clue that Anushka is upset with her or talking against her to her friends”.
In Koffee with Karan, Sonakshi had told Karan that from the present generation of newcomer she would love to work with Ranveer as she loved his acting in Band Baaja Baaraat.
Sinha's representative has totally denied the reports stating, "Sonakshi has never pitched any actors to any directors; she doesn't need to and knows better. The rest is hearsay. Sonakshi shares a healthy, cordial rapport with Anushka and these stories won't affect that.
Ranveer and Ranbir are definitely the luckiest guys in town, with the Bollywood beauties fighting with each other for them.
