Shahrukh Khan was at his humorous best at the marriage of Mallika Reddy and Siddharth in Hyderabad
Bollywood celebrities trooped in, in their best attire for the grand wedding of Mallika Reddy, daughter of business tycoon GVK Reddy, which took place on Saturday night. The marriage saw stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Rani Mukherjee, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh and Preity Zinta and many more from Tollywood..
Shahrukh Khan, as usual, stole the show with his performance at the sangeeth ceremony. He danced to the well-known Salman Khan’s dance number, ‘Dhinka Chika’. Like Salman in Dabangg, SRK took out goggles from behind his shirt, described it as song for the Reddys from the movie ‘Ready’.
He told that he was there to replace Jennifer Lopez who couldn’t come to the marriage for a performance. So even though he had a sprained knee, Shahrukh turned around and shook his bum like Jennifer Lopez and told, “Every time I do this, it’s to remind you that I am here in place of JLo.”
The King Khan also performed to the song “Main Hoon Don” from his upcoming movie Don 2, but when he spotted Amitabh Bachchan, the original Don, sitting in the front row and enjoying the show, Shahrukh said, “Mr Bachchan, I apologise for having performed this in front of you.”
The gathering of 2000 people at the venue had a whale of a time as Shahrukh entertained them with his jokes.
