That Salman Khan has started work on Sooraj Barjatya’s
comeback movie, Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo opposite Sonam Kapoor is known to all. In
fact, the mahurat shot for the movie was given at a studio on the outskirts of
Mumbai last month and the makers have determined to shoot the movie at a
breathtaking speed.
Keep in mind, last month it was reported that apne Sallu
miyaan took an entire day to give the perfect shot for the movie in Karjat?
Sooraj Barjatya’s association with Salman goes back to the superstar’s
struggling days as an actor.
Barjatya gave Salman his break with the musical hit, Maine
Pyar Kiya (1989). The duo last worked together in Hum Saath Saath Hai (1999).
Salman is also very close to the Barjatya family and respects the filmmaker a
lot. It’s just for this reason that Salman didn’t want to report late on sets.
And so he determined to stay at his Panvel farmhouse ever since he knew about
the shoot schedule taking place at the Panvel studio. So he preferred to stay
put up at his farmhouse till the schedule is over and that he would report sets
on time.
