The first trailer of Anurag Basu’s film Barfi was released last evening and we definitely loved it.
Ranbir plays a mute and deaf guy and hence we find not one single dialogue in the whole trailer. Though he is physically challenged, he doesn’t stop himself from disturbing people with his pranks. He is also seen making passes to girls on the street.
Ranbir Kapoor is named Murphy in the movie and since he is from a small town, his name is pronounced as Barfi by everyone.
The film looks very promising and the star cast has been chosen perfectly.
The trailer also sees Shruti (Ileana D’Cruz) and Jhilmil (Priyanka Chopra). The film has music by Pritam and is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur.
The Barfi releases on September 14.
