Hot Megha Burman is ready for a long innings in Film Industry!






Megha Burman whose career in movies started with "Paap" in 2003, is wanting to make it big in Bollywood. Her controversial film "Dam 999" has been banned in Tamil Nadu, but Megha is unperturbed with the news and looking ahead. She tells the film has got nine characters and she is portraying the role of Raziya, a Pakistani lady, who wants to give birth to a child. She is "Shringaar" in the movie which means love and devotion. She loved working with Ashish Vidyarthi and Rajit Kapur. It’s an imaginary story and is not revolving around any specific dam.
Megha is surprised to find so many controversies arising out of the movie even before its release. She clarifies that there might be a few scenes which is similar to the real happenings but it’s a simple coincidence. Her upcoming movie named "Ballad Of Rustom" is to be made in English and Hindi, by Ajita Suchitra Veera.
The movie focuses on the lives of poor rural people in a remote corner of India, about their lives, their joys and agony. Megha welcomes both offbeat films and commercial cinemas. She is also open for Hindi as well as South Indian cinemas.
