Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan reasserted his stand on ban on smoking scenes in movies saying it was too controlling to display anti-tobacco messages during the movies.
In hyderabad , to promote his new movie, Don 2, Shahrukh said the pre-movie public advisory was the responsibility of every film maker but to disrupt the film and show the anti-tobacco messages was artistically incorrect.
"I think to erase, ban or inserting a ticker tape on the screen would be a little unartistic and too controlling. But if it is a legal sale of something, I think just the warning is sufficient. We should have a public service message as we do for event stunts, that don't try this stunt at home. Similarly you should not smoke or consume alcohol," told Khan.
