Superhero Rajinikanth rejects Body Double for his all Stunts in Rana!

The South icon Rajinikanth is presently recuperating in Singapore. He has sounded out his punch packed decision that he will perform his own stunts for Rana, minus the assistant of any body double or stunt man.

Rana, a period action movie penned by Rajinikanth himself, estimated to be crafted on a budget of Rs. 150 crore and helmed by K. S. Ravikumar was riddled with hiccups after the "superstar" was hospitalized in April 2011. Although "Rajni Sir's" portions were to be filmed in June 2011, the sequences will now be canned in September 2011.

Slashing all rumors that the script has been "altered" owing to Rajinikanth's sickness and subsequent hospitalization, director K. S. Ravikumar said "not a single sequence has been changed" and that Rajinikanth insisted on doing all the "stunt action himself, since he does not like the idea of using a body double" and is "keen on doing all the stunt action himself."
Rana stars bollywood biggie Deepika Padukone and has music set to score by A. R. Rahman.

As per sources, Rajinikanth is likely to be discharged from hospital shortly, though he will stay back in Singapore, taking complete rest and getting his health back on track.
