The 24-year-old star’s schedule is packed till early 2012. The forthcoming movies that will keep Sonakshi busy are with Joker, Vishwaroopam, Rowdy Rathod, Race 2, Kick and Dabangg 2.
The actress lately wrapped the second filming schedule for Shirish Kunder’s Joker with co-star Akshay Kumar. Vishwaroopam will have her act opposite actor Kamal Hassan. The shooting for the movie will go on floors in the first week of July.
August will see her filming for Sanjay Leela Bhansali production Rowdy Rathod with co-star Akshay Kumar.
Abbas Mustan’s multi starrer crime thriller Race 2 will begin filming in October. The movie is a sequel to Race (2008). Anil Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan reprise their roles but the rest of the cast is new.
Shirish Kunder’s remake of South romance action movie, Kick, will have the actress acting opposite Salman Khan. Filming will begin in January 2012. The sequel to Dabangg that producer and director Arbaaz Khan says will bigger and better than the original will start filming early next year, taking the story forward.
But Sonakshi is not a part of Sajid Nadiadwala produced multistarrer Housefull 2.
