One shirt worth a fortune for Bheja Fry 2

Vinay Pathak’s wardrobe in the film was bought from local markets in Mumbai. So when a shirt of his which was very crucial in the film went missing on the cruise, it had everybody in fits.

The costume designer and her team went looking for it in Singapore and Malaysia but with no luck. The fabric of the shirt was Indian made and was not available anywhere abroad. The shirt had to be bought and specially called from India on an urgent basis.

The shirt was transported to Singapore from India and further on to Malacca from where it was loaded on to the cruise since the cruise was docked at Malacca on that day or it would have been sailing in the water continuously for the next 24 hrs without any stop. The journey of the 100 rupees shirt cost more than a lakh to make it on time for the shoot of Bheja Fry 2.
