Now that the girls from all over the country are gearing up to represent India on global platforms like Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Earth pageants, Celina Jaitely hog the attention with the tweet that question the authenticity of beauty pageants.
She lately wrote in a social networking site, “After becoming a runner up at Ms Universe in 2001 I realized The Miss Universe pageant is fixed. All the winners are from Earth.”
Jaitley was crowned Femina Miss India Universe 2001 and subsequently she was sent to the Miss Universe 2001 contest, where she was a finalist and finished as the 4th Runner Up.
Ever increasing reputation of pageants year after year must have been rubbing salt on her wounds and so she vented it out on twitter this year.
