During the shoot of Bazmee’s Ready, in October last year, Salman Khan was suffering from a major eye infection and hence, was seen in shades for most of the shoot. Though he did almost everything to hide his red eye, yet, it the infection is quite noticeable.
Salman’s red eye is very evident in the first trailer of Ready. This has caused quite a tension among the film makers and so, the scenes might be re-edited.
The action sequence in the film is where the swollen eyes show up.
A source says, “Salman wears a chashma for the first time on screen. The decision to empower his eyes with spectacles was taken during the time when Salman suffered the eye infection. But the specs came off for the high-powered action sequences.”
The source includes, “Salman’s fans always like to see him looking his best. We never anticipated this eye trouble to show up on screen.”
Now, most probably, there will be some patchwork re-shoot in order to replace Salman’s infected eyes.
