Anil Kapoor wanted to keep the ball rolling for his daughter with the remake of ‘Freaky Friday’. He was looking at casting a popular face as Sonam’s mother in the movie.
So much that when Kirron Kher rejected to play the mother’s part in the movie, he headed to none other than Madhuri Dixit, who has been his heroine in many blockbusters. But, Madhuri who has yet not come to terms with the fact that there are no takers for her in heroine’s role, turned down the offer.
Anil even approached another co-star Sridevi but she has already dedicated to R Balki’s upcoming movie. So, now the film is on hold until the father finds a mother for his daughter!
