The comic maestro Govinda turned down the possibilities of rift existing between him and his counterpart for the movie “Partner”- Salman Khan. The movie featuring the twosome has been much celebrated for the outstanding display of comic streaks. The movie “Partner” is also credited to have revived the career of the veteran Govinda. Salman played a crucial role in Govinda’s getting the offer.
Another sequel was to follow Partner. Absence of any such sequel in addition to Salman’s promotion of Sonakshi in place of Narmada (Govinda’s daughter) led to the questions of probable bitterness between the two. However Govinda’s pronouncement on the given issue seems to have cleared the air. Insisting that all was fine between them, Govinda was not bothered with the question of solution because there never was any problem which needed to be solved.
Neither did the ace actor suffer from any ill feeling in grounds of Salman’s preference for Sonakshi as a seasoned campaigner he knew that at times one has to struggle and wait for the right chance. Having struggled for his first release the actor doesn’t mind his daughter doing the same. Thus the question of ill feeling or that of complaint against Salman did not rise.
