When the girls are painting the town red, green and blue with their stunt-mania, Deepika Padukone is honing her cooking skills.
Deepika is playing the role of Saif Ali Khan’s love-interest in ‘Aarakshan’. In one of the scenes, her character was required to make rotis. The actress is so inexperienced when it comes to cooking skills that the rolling pin would slip off her hand every time the camera rolled. She would even hold the pin so away from her body, as if it is a detonator and the scene wouldn’t look natural onscreen.
So the director Prakash Jha himself walked up to her to teach her how to roll the pin on pastry board to make roti. Saif Ali Khan had a hearty laugh while she was being trained by the director.
