Kangana Ranaut is all set to go de-glam for her forthcoming
movie, ‘Queen’. Here is the first look and Kangana looks very sweet and
innocent.
The movie requires her to be natural and so, Kangana has
been asked to use minimal make-up for the movie. Queen is directed by Vikas
Bahl of Chillar Party fame.
It is heard that the director hasn’t even hired a make-up
artist for the slightest of make up touch ups.
A source updates, “Kangana, who is known to portray overtly
sexy and glamorous looks, has been transformed completely for this movie. Her
styling and make-up is minimalist. Vikas insisted that Kangana, who looks very
pretty and vulnerable without make-up, should go natural.”
But, for some parts where she will require applying make-up,
Kangana will help herself.
The movie essays Kangana Ranaut as a simpleton who decides
to go solo on her honeymoon after her wedding falls through. If sources are to
be believed, Kangana’s past experiences have been integrated into the script.
“The character is quirky whimsical emotional and volatile
like Kangana. The line between the real Kangana and her character is so flimsy
that Kangana many times ended up borrowing from her experiences to play the
role,” a source told.
Kangana Ranaut’s small-town look in the early part of the
movie is inspired by Jaya Bachchan in Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Guddi and Rani
Mukherjee in Bunty Aur Babli.
