Buzz has it that Abhishek Bachchan’s soon to be released movie, Players is a copy of Dhoom. However, Jr Bachchan denies these rumors saying that both the movies are from the same action genre, but are way too different.
While promoting his movie, Abhishek told, “Players and Dhoom are two different films – Dhoom was on cops-robbers faceoff and all the main characters in Players are thieves.”
Abhishek included, “However, the genre of both the films is the same. Both films are action-thrillers, but director-duo Abbas-Mustan has given a different treatment to Players.”
Abhishek also tells that the characters of Bobby Deol and Bipasha Basu are an addition in the film and that those characters were not there in the original film,The Italian Job!
We hope Players bring some luck to Abhishek.
