Ek Tha Tiger will release on 1st june 2012

Yash Raj Films romantic-thriller “EK THA TIGER” goes on floor end July and is slated for a 1st June 2012 release.

 Directed by Kabir Khan and Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film stars Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.

 The film is based on a story by Aditya Chopra and the Screenplay & Dialogues have been written by KabirKhan and Neelesh Misra. Aseem Mishra, who has worked with Kabir on New York, will be the DOP. The music will be scored by Pritam.

 The film has generated tremendous anticipation since its announcement. Wait for updates as we go along.

Katrina’s first appearance in live concerts!

It looks like Katrina Kaif has determined to discard her habitually solemn demeanour and have some serious fun -- by promoting her forthcoming movie 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'.

Her wish to be in the 'fun' zone may have lot to do with the company she is keeping lately, particularly her 'Mere Brother...' co-star Imran Khan.

A friend of the actress tells, 'Katrina found herself warming up not only to Imran but also to his wife Avantika. She felt she was part of a family.'

And the 'family' has persuaded Katrina to go on stage for what is clandestinely being termed the 'Dulhan' concerts.

A source reveals, ''Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' producers Yashraj plan to put Katrina, Imran and Ali Zafar on stage to promote the movie. Ali, who plays one of the leads, asked Katrina if she too would attend him for the concerts that would take them to several metros. At first, Katrina laughed off his idea. When Ali was adamant she wanted to know what she would do on stage. Ali suggested she join him to sing. And Katrina is game.'

As things stand, the concerts will be Katrina's first ever live concerts.

It is confirmed; Katrina Kaif dons a bikini for the film Dhoom 3!

Katrina Kaif outshining all other actresses has at last been roped in as the leading lady in the Yashraj Film Dhoom 3.

The film is full on action packed with Aamir Khan playing the baddie, escaping from inspector Jai (Abhishek Bachchan) and his assistant Ali (Uday Chopra).

Well, now that the sweet and charming Katrina Kaif has bagged the prestigious role, she will have to undergo a through make over to fit into her character. Buzz also has it that the actress will have to don a bikini for the movie.

Looks like after Anushka Sharma, its Katrina Kaif who is the Yashraj banner’s preferred girl. After ‘New York’, Kats has just got done with Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and is presently shooting for Ek Tha Tiger. There’s also an untitled YRF movie with Shahrukh Khan.

Firstly, rumors had it that Deepika Padukone and Bipasha Basu were also approached for the leadi role in the film. However, it is Katrina who clinched it.

Salman-Katrina’s reunion in Iraq!

The YRF venture, Ek Tha Tiger, is taking the genre of a romantic thriller to an entire new level. The Salman Khan Katrina Kaif starrer directed by Kabir Khan, would be the first Bollywood movie to be shot in Iraq.

For understandable reasons, acquiring the permission has been quite a feat. Reportedly, YRF sent a letter to the Iraqi government a few months ago, requesting for permission to shoot a major action sequence in the country with Salman.

Not only has the government granted filming permissions, but has also made provisions to ensure the security of the cast and crew. And to top it off, the government has made arrangements for the crew to commute by helicopter from one shooting location to another.

A source tells, “It was expected that the permission would be granted. We guess Iraq wants to convey loud and clear that all is well in their country.”

However, as with most decisions that affect the Dabangg man, the move to approach the Iraqi government did not happen before Kabir and YRF sought Salman’s permission. The source included, “Salman is extremely excited about shooting in Iraq. When Kabir Khan told him about the schedule in Iraq, he instantly agreed.”

The director is scheduled to leave for Iraq today to scout around for the exact locations for shoot. The source explained, “He will be zeroing down on the spots where Salman will shoot. He will return in a week. After that, he will go to Iraq with Salman, in August.”

Sorry to say, Salman, who will have to stay in the country for a minimum of eight days for the action sequence, will experience this rare opportunity solo, as his off-screen ex-girlfriend and the film’s lead actress, Katrina Kaif, will not be needed for the shoot.
