Salman-Katrina’s reunion in Iraq!

The YRF venture, Ek Tha Tiger, is taking the genre of a romantic thriller to an entire new level. The Salman Khan Katrina Kaif starrer directed by Kabir Khan, would be the first Bollywood movie to be shot in Iraq.

For understandable reasons, acquiring the permission has been quite a feat. Reportedly, YRF sent a letter to the Iraqi government a few months ago, requesting for permission to shoot a major action sequence in the country with Salman.

Not only has the government granted filming permissions, but has also made provisions to ensure the security of the cast and crew. And to top it off, the government has made arrangements for the crew to commute by helicopter from one shooting location to another.

A source tells, “It was expected that the permission would be granted. We guess Iraq wants to convey loud and clear that all is well in their country.”

However, as with most decisions that affect the Dabangg man, the move to approach the Iraqi government did not happen before Kabir and YRF sought Salman’s permission. The source included, “Salman is extremely excited about shooting in Iraq. When Kabir Khan told him about the schedule in Iraq, he instantly agreed.”

The director is scheduled to leave for Iraq today to scout around for the exact locations for shoot. The source explained, “He will be zeroing down on the spots where Salman will shoot. He will return in a week. After that, he will go to Iraq with Salman, in August.”

Sorry to say, Salman, who will have to stay in the country for a minimum of eight days for the action sequence, will experience this rare opportunity solo, as his off-screen ex-girlfriend and the film’s lead actress, Katrina Kaif, will not be needed for the shoot.

Katrina wants lavish party on her birthday for very close bollywood personalities!

Three years after the infamous party where SRK-Salman clashed, Katrina Kaif is now all set to throw another birthday bash. Seems like the actress has finally let go of her demons, and according to sources will host a grand birthday party next month.

A close friend of the actress tells, “After what happened at her birthday party three years ago Katrina developed paranoia about hosting a party. A very private person by nature, she was annoyed and embarrassed by what transpired between the two Bollywood titans on her special day. She wouldn’t step out of her home for any social event for weeks after, so complete was her sense of embarrassment about the open war between the two Khans at her revelry.”

But now at last, the actress has decided to let bygones be bygones and is all set to throw a grand party, where she wants to invite all the people who make a difference to her life in one way or another.

A close source tells, “She wants to leave the nightmare of that birthday party behind and just enjoy the company of all her colleagues. It won’t be a fake party. She won’t invite anyone just for formality’s sake.”

Also, this year her birthday coincides with the release of her next movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. A source adds, “She wants to celebrate, because that’s what Dobara is about. She had loads of fun with Farhan and Zoya during the shooting in Spain. They made her lose her inhibitions. The shooting of ZNMD also banished Katrina’s bad memories of the 2008 birthday bash. So yes, Katrina will party.”

YRF’s favorite Anushka Sharma to share screen space with SRK and Katrina Kaif in Yashraj’s debut film!

In the past, it’s very obvious that Anushka Sharma shares a magnificent rapport with YRF. The latest we hear is that the actress will be seen sharing screen space with Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in the much-talked about untitled project.

According to a close source, “The script requires a strong actor for the second lead in the film. Yash and Aditya were scouting around and then thought that Anushka seemed to be an obvious choice, for more than one reason. The role required an actress, who looks younger than Katrina Kaif. And few actresses fit that requirement. Anushka was just the right choice. Plus, Yash Chopra is really fond of her.”

If the news is believed, then, this would be Anushka’s fifth time working with YRF.

Ranbir Kapoor criticizes Katrina’s sense of dressing and style!

In a latest talk show, the so called Casanova- the spryly attractive Ranbir Kapoor came up critically against Katrina’s dressing sense and signature styles. Despite being one of the most sought after actresses, the junior Kapoor felt that Katrina’s was the case of one of the top wardrobe malfunctions with actress falling beneath the expected norms of style statements.

In course of highlighting on his former flames, R. K not only made fun of Kat’s manner of dressing; but also expressed similar grievances against Deepika for speaking publicly against him; while the same could have been settled at personal level with the right kind of interaction.
