I never play second fiddle to anyone: Ali Zafar

After the super success of his last movie TERE BIN LADEN, Ali Zafar is pinning all hopes on his next film MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN (MBKL) to get a solid footing in Bollywood. Though many might feel that Ali despite his hit film is playing second fiddle in MBKL, but the actor sees little truth in it.
A source reveals, "Ali Zafar has got his strategy in place. The actor recently refused a big film simply because he had not got a meaty role to play. Same is the case with his upcoming release MBKL. Many might think that Ali has been marginalized by Imran and Katrina, while the fact is that true to his promise Ali is not playing second fiddle to anyone in the film."
When the Pakistani actor was recently quizzed about his act in MBKL and whether he felt like a fence sitter, the actor retorted, "I never play second fiddle to anyone and I will never do films that offer me such roles. As far as MBKL is concerned you have to watch it to believe it."

Katrina Kaif steals the show in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan

Fresh off the success of her last blockbuster Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Katrina Kaif proves her mettle yet again in the span of 2 months with Yash Raj’s Mere Brother Ki Dulhan that opened to impressive collections this weekend –
Apart from proving yet again that she’s Bollywood’s lucky mascot when it comes to box office figures, Katrina Kaif also received stellar reviews for her performance as the zany Dimple Dixit .
Talking about her role in the film says Katrina “It was my dream to work in a Yash Raj film.It is a romantic comedy, very exaggerated, tongue-n-cheek.I play Dimple in the movie she is completely mad and very bindaas”
Says acclaimed critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh “Playing the wacky and crazy Dimple Katrina is only getting better and more endearing with every release “
“The charismatic Katrina Kaif in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is easily the star of this show. Offering an uninhibited and winning performance as the mad but endearing Dimple” adds critic Rajeev Masand
If that wasn’t all ,as per official box office reports ,Mere Brother Ki Dulhan  had the seventh biggest opening day of the year (7.35 croreapproximately)*
Katrina Kaif however remains unfazed with the adulation coming her way and is keen to push the envelope even further in her next releases. Says Katrina “The way I approach my films, each of them has to be a separate entity in itself.  To start a film, do it well, promote it to the fullest, get it up for release and then to see that it gets accepted by the audience - there are challenges at every juncture. Really, every film of my own is a little battle of its own".

Katrina’s first appearance in live concerts!

It looks like Katrina Kaif has determined to discard her habitually solemn demeanour and have some serious fun -- by promoting her forthcoming movie 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'.
Her wish to be in the 'fun' zone may have lot to do with the company she is keeping lately, particularly her 'Mere Brother...' co-star Imran Khan.
A friend of the actress tells, 'Katrina found herself warming up not only to Imran but also to his wife Avantika. She felt she was part of a family.'
And the 'family' has persuaded Katrina to go on stage for what is clandestinely being termed the 'Dulhan' concerts.
A source reveals, ''Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' producers Yashraj plan to put Katrina, Imran and Ali Zafar on stage to promote the movie. Ali, who plays one of the leads, asked Katrina if she too would attend him for the concerts that would take them to several metros. At first, Katrina laughed off his idea. When Ali was adamant she wanted to know what she would do on stage. Ali suggested she join him to sing. And Katrina is game.'
As things stand, the concerts will be Katrina's first ever live concerts.
