Priyanka Chopra has a new fan. And that’s none other than designer Rahul Mishra. It seems that, the designer is in total awe of the the beautiful actress. Freshly, He was praising PeeCee at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week.
Rahul told, “I appreciate how Priyanka has been working to save the environment by being associated with the Greenathon initiative. I got to know that she does not take any money for all this. It is a wonderful thing.”
His collection showcased some of the best organic fabrics and he said he would love to dedicate the entire collection to Priyanka Chopra.
“My collection is for someone who is very intelligent, travelled a lot, responsible enough and knows what she is choosing,” further added Mishra.
Priyanka, who is presently enjoying the success of her debut album and her last movie Barfi!, has been a part of NDTV’s Greenathon, an initiative taken up to help people become eco-friendly villages.
When asked Rahul about what inspired him for the very unique collection, he told, “I have used all organic fabrics like Kerela handloom and organic khaadi with a lot of texturing. Organic khaadi is the oldest textile known to mankind, so the idea behind was how we can make it more relevant for 21st century. That is the reason I has used 21st century graphics. It is all about celebration of life.”
