As reported previously, Anushka Sharma has bagged Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Peekay’,opposite Aamir Khan. Rumors had it that Hirani had second thoughts about casting the actress. However, the news is now verified.
It is heard that a certain section of the industry is not very happy about Anushka being Hirani’s leading lady in the movie. Apparently, Anushka’s competitors are envious about her bagging a meaty role opposite Mr. Perfectionist, and hence are spreading false news about the star cast and the movie.
News had it that movie will not have Aamir Khan in it and instead Anushka will be paired with another male actor.
A source reveals, “Soon after she got confirmed, there were rumours about how she had been paired opposite TV actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the movie, instead of Aamir.”
However, rubbishing all rumors, insiders from the production house have stated, Anushka is “Anushka is very much paired opposite Aamir. Sushant’s dates span over just eight to 10 days for this project. Someone has been spreading baseless rumours.”
