I am not a competitor for Ajay, Salman and Akshay: Aami Khan

Aamir Khan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Talaash. He plays the role of a policeman. The actor told that he’s role is very different from Salman Khan’s role in Dabangg and that he isn’t looking to compete with anyone.
Aamir told on the music launch of Talaash, “I don’t want to compete with anyone. Ajay, Salman and Akshay have been cops earlier but this is very different. My character is struggling with his past. This is not an out and out entertainer, but I liked it.”

Aamir has given back to back hits since a long time now, but he says that he doesn’t let the pressure of his earlier performances distract him from his current projects.
“The pressure will always be there. This is good that people expect more from me, but it is scary too. I make sure that the pressure doesn’t come in my way of work,” he told.
The thriller stars Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee as well.
Formerly, Aamir was seen in the avatar of a cop in Sarfarosh. However, Aamir said that he didn’t have to do a lot of research for his role in Sarfarosh.
Aamir khan told, “I didn’t have to research as much as I had to in ‘Sarfarosh’. It is different here. We did little research in terms of costumes for the film.”
In the film, Rani plays the role of Aamir’s wife, while Kareena plays the role of a hooker. And Aamir is very happy with the casting, he feels it’s perfect.
“The casting of this film is a big strength. The way the characters have been written make them all very important,” he told.
The music launch was earlier supposed to be held in a red light area.
“This was one of the ideas, but we felt it would be insensitive as we don’t want to use anyone’s misfortune to promote our film,” he told.
Director of the film Remma Kagti told that she really respected all the overwhelming creative inputs Aamir gave her.
“It has been my dream to work with Aamir. He has given a lot of creative inputs which I appreciated. But he has always been very respectful to my image of the film. Rani and Kareena are more experienced than me and I am grateful that they let me direct them,” she told.
The film hits screens on November 30.
