Chitrangda
Singh had debuted in Bollywood with an off-beat film by Sudhir Mishra titled
"Hazaroon Khwaishein Aisi" but soon after she drifted into the
mainstream commercial film stream. She says the performance in both types of
films differs a lot, in off-beat films, one should think of the story, but in
commercial film, it’s like a fairy-tale story. She does not mind doing off-beat
or commercial movies, but she wants to do only good movies. The role of Vidya
Balan in "Kahaani" is one of Chitra's favourites.
Now
off late she has transformed herself into an item girl, but Chitrangada says it
was not easy for her, as there were hundreds of people, and the dancing stage
was rather big.
Chitrangada
tells one needs to forget the drawbacks and just give in the best. Item number
transforms an actress from an ordinary woman to a glamorous lady. She learnt a
lot from the experience she gathered doing the item number
"Kaafiraana" in "Joker" film. She also sung the song
"I want Fakta You" which created quite a ruckus due to the lyrics,
and therefore the song was changed to "I want just you". She is
working for Sudhir Mishra's film "Inkaar" as well as "I,Me Aur
Main".
