No liquor - No sugar for Salman Khan for being a fit and muscular body!

No liquor. No sugar. Less carbohydrate is eating. Salman Khan who had piled on the pounds to enact the 45 year old dishonest cop in Dabangg, is now in the process of pumping iron with a vengeance and shedding the excess baggage. Khan's role in the upcoming Ready hardly requires him to shed his shirt in the film.

With Bodyguard, the volatile Khan is working doubly hard to ensure that he's in top form, since he's enacting the eponymous role. For a while now, the actor has been stationed at Film City in suburban Mumbai, filming from dawn to dusk for his brother in law Atul Agnihotri's movie.

Report has it that Salman's gym has everything that the workout crazy star needs to get back into the physique that his admirers love. Get set to greet Khan of the six pack abs and washboard stomach image.

Agnihotri reveals, "Salman has been working out quite hard at the gym. Earlier, he would exercise only in the morning, but now he makes time for it in the afternoon and evening too."

After Dabangg, the actor kept away from hardcore weight training, though he didn't abandon the treadmill, cycling exercises and basic workout sessions.

In addition, for Bodyguard, Salman has teamed up once again with fight master Vijayan, who served up the knockout action for Khan in Wanted and Dabangg.

Agnihotri includes, "Salman and Vijayan are working on some special action scenes. For Bodyguard, Salman is going a step further in terms of his workout and physique since he's playing a bodyguard in the film. He wants to do full justice to his 'look' in the movie, since his fans always look forward to it and he has a sense of responsibility towards them."
