"Stanley Ka Dabba" gets exemption from entertainment tax in Maharashtra and Delhi!

After going tax-free in Delhi, “Stanley Ka Dabba” is now expected to be granted exemption from entertainment tax in Maharashtra later this week.

Producer Fox Star and director Amole Gupte have big plans to broaden the film's reach.

Amole tells, "Children will return to school after the summer holidays in the first week of June. We're hoping to get them into theatres in large numbers. With reduced ticket rates, we're hoping we can approach schools who can screen “
Stanley ka Dabba” to their students.”

In the meantime, Fox Star's Vijay Singh informs that 20 extra prints of “Stanley Ka Dabba” will soon hit Mumbai theatres, with more to follow.

Amole thankfully says, "I only have Sheila Dixit in
Delhi and Satvasheela Chauhan in Maharashtra to thank for the exemption. They loved the movie and toyed with the idea of making the movie tax-free.

Mrs Chauhan spoke to me on Saturday and said she would be happy to extend any kind of help that the film needs. I can't thank her enough,” told an overjoyed Gupte.
