Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is most likely to play a Pakistani national in academy award winning sound designer, Resul Pookutty’s directorial debut.
“He (Resul) had come to me… He had met me. He wanted to make a film with me. We had some discussions but nothing has been finalized yet,” Amitabh told.
Resul Pookutty who won the Oscar for sound mixing in Slumdog Millionaire told, “I have approached Mr Bachchan for the film that I want to direct. The character is from another country but it is not a political film. It is an extremely human subject that touches the lives of people on both sides of the border.”
The movie will be an emotional one dealing with the relationship between a father and son.
