Known to support woman- oriented socially relevant causes, producer Krishika Lulla goes a step further and has decided to release Shoaib Mansoor’s BOL in India.
Shoaib Mansoor’s BOL has already become Pakistan’s biggest grosser and supporting the sensitivity with which the maker aims to showcase the problem of gender-bias, has impressed the producer to no end.
Says Krishika Lulla, whose company Eros International will be facilitating the film’s release in India “This is a fabulous film that deals with gender issues in Pakistan, questioning the reasoning behind considering the birth of a female child as a bane,”
After arranging screenings for some of the most renowned women opinion leaders, Krishika hopes to bring light to the issue and looks forward to audience feedback.
“The film will touch hearts regardless of geographical borders .Those in India who have seen the film have all shared the same reaction. If Shoaib Mansoor’s Khuda Ke Liye caused goosebumps, Bol will send a shiver down your spine” adds Krishika.
