Television czarina Ekta Kapoor doesn't like to go for audience research and believes in creating new things and setting trends.
'I believe in a lot of conversation with youngsters. I don't believe in research because research is all about past experiences. Tomorrow whatever work we do will become research. But how we did it will never be researched,' Ekta said.
'I don't believe in audience research as I believe I will be limiting myself...I rather do what I am doing without thinking what others think,' she included.
Ekta's production house Balaji Telefilms has produced off-beat movies like 'Love Sex aur Dhokha', 'Shor in the City' and 'Ragini MMS'. She is now producing 'The Dirty Picture', inspired by late south Indian actress Silk Smitha's life.
