We had already informed that actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will make her comeback to acting with Sanjay Gupta's thriller Jazbaa and buzz has it that though the movie script doesn't call for songs, the makers of the movie decided to incorporate a special promotional song featuring the light-eyed beauty.

News has it that the makers were aware that fans of Aishwarya, who haven't seen her on the silver screen since a long time, will expect a song featuring the actress and hence, decided to incorporate a special video after Aishwarya gave her nod to the same. The video will be shot in a very stylish and edgy manner as befits a thriller made by Gupta.

Apart from Aishwarya, Jazbaa also stars Irrfan Khan, Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher, Siddhanth Kapoor and others.

I have not signed any movie after PK: Aamir Khan!

While the audiences are still raving about Aamir Khan's path breaking act in PK, it comes as a shock to many that he will not have any releases in 2015.

Rumours are on that he has signed a biopic on a wrestler which is tentatively titled as 'Dungal' and a film with Karan Johar. But the PK star refutes these rumours and says, "I have not signed any movie after PK. I will inform the media when I do find a script worth taking up. "

Aamir's last release PK opened to packed houses and have received positive response from the critics as well.

Sonam Kapoor celebrates New Years 2015 in Dubai with family!

It’s an annual family ritual for Anil Kapoor to bring in his birthday on 24 December with his family. But this time Anil’s son Harshvardhan won’t be joining the family, as he is shooting for his debut film in Rajasthan.

Anil reveals, “I am really happy that I’ll be spending time with my wife Sunita and my daughters Rhea and Sonam. We’re flying to Dubai for my birthday and Christmas on 24 and 25 December. But unfortunately my son Harshvardhan can’t join us. He is shooting for Rakeysh’s Mirziya in the interiors of Rajasthan.”

It seems that Mehra was more than willing to let Harshvardhan go for the annual ritual. But the young aspiring actor chose to fore go the family vacation.

Anil further adds, “That’s okay. There will be many other occasions for us to be together. Right bow Harsh needs to concentrate on his career.”

An International Debut for Sid Mallya shows off Sid’s true blue Brit side?

Rumors have been on about Sid Mallya’s Hollywood ventures but now it seems like there is some solid development on his acting debut.

Looks like Sid Mallya is all set to finally make his silver screen debut, having landed himself his debut film – an international production that shows off Sid’s true blue Brit side. Directed by Calcutta based Q, produced by Steve Barron (who’s other comedies include Dan Akroyd’s Coneheads and Mike Bassett: England Manager), the movie story is centered on the quizzers scene in the early 80s in India. It is a smart and witty teen comedy. Director Q has created quite a stir in the indie film circuit with festival hits like Tasher Desh and Gandu.

“Being an independent content focused film, it’s not too massive a production and has both a British and an Indian team working on it since a large chunk of it will be shot in Bangalore, Sid’s hometown. The film will go on floors in the first quarter of next year.” says the industry source. Apparently the film has Sid in one of the leading roles with 4 new talented actors being cast as pivotal roles alongside him.

The industry source further tells, “Sid’s been showcasing his mad side with his recent web series #SidSessions, responding to all the craziness thrown at him on social media with humor, wit and without taking himself seriously. The response to it has been incredible. He certainly has on screen presence and the ability to engage people. The producers and director is looking forward to getting the best out of him.”

I’ll make sure Shahrukh watches the Bigg Boss show now, says new host Farah Khan!

Did you know that SRK doesn’t watch Bigg Boss? Disclosing this was SRK’s close friend Farah Khan herself. Although it is not clear why SRK doesn’t watch Bigg Boss, we feel this could one of the reasons why he never promoted Happy New Year on Bigg Boss 8 despite being friends with Salman. Finally, what’s the point in promoting your movie on a show that you don’t watch yourself?

But, all that is set to change now after Farah takes on the hosting responsibilities. The makers of the controversial reality show have now determined to grant the show an extension of a month and have roped in Farah Khan to host the show for that extra month. Salman whose contract will end on 4th January 2015 refused to take an extension as he doesn’t have any free dates to shoot for Bigg Boss due to his movie commitments. The megastar will apparently be busy shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Farah has been roped in after a couple of other actors, including Anil Kapoor, seemingly told ‘No’ to hosting the show.

Farah who is a self-confessed Bigg Boss fanatic told that she was looking forward to hosting the show. “Everyone knows that I’m a huge Bigg Boss fan. I used to tweet about it all the time. I am a Bigg Boss junkie. I follow all the contestants and I’m thrilled to be hosting it.”

Farah also praised Salman calling him a mind-blowing host and told that no one can take his place. She, however, said that she would make sure to get her friend SRK to watch Bigg Boss when she starts hosting. “SRK doesn’t watch Bigg Boss. But if I am hosting, I will make sure he watches it.”

Perhaps Farah can even get SRK to put in his maiden Bigg Boss appearance on the grand finale of the show. 

Azad Rao Khan imitates father Aamir Khan's peculiar dancing!

As forthcoming movie PK's release is approaching near, perfectionist Aamir Khan, who is super thrilled at the moment, just can't wait to gauge the audience's reaction!

While the megastar has already begun the countdown, he has also shown the movie to his family. 

“7 days to go, guys!! I have good news, my family saw the film & loved it. My little son Azad, my daughter Ira, Kiran & Ammi. All of them said its my best film till date & I am totally thrilled!! Azad's started calling me PK, copies my bizarre dancing,” Aamir shared on a micro-blogging site.

Nevertheless, his elder son Junaid will watch it on the day of release.

“The only person missing was Junaid who is currently in L.A and will watch it on the 19th. I feel on top of the world today!!” Aamir further added.

Saif and Tamannaah give a skip to Humshakals success party!

The success party of Humshakals held last night at a suburban five-star hotel was quite a simple affair. Considering the event was held to celebrate the film’s box office success, the makers and actors present at the venue were spotted in a not so happy mood and it seemed as if the party was thrown to silence the critics who panned the comedy and informing them about the movie making Rs 76 crores.

Though Sajid Khan, Vashu Bhagnani, Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor and Esha Gupta congratulated media and the viewers for their support, Saif Ali Khan and Tamannaah were noticeable by their absence. Bipasha, anyways, wasn’t expected for reasons best known to her.

Astonishingly, the lead actor of the movie, Saif is in Malaysia for a brand shoot and couldn’t attend the event. But we wonder why so rush for the party… it could’ve also done in the presence of Saif and Tamannaah.

Producer Vashu Bhagnani told, “This is the first party. We will throw second when the movie touches Rs 100 crore and third when it crosses Rs 100 crore. Since Humshakals was about three actors in triple roles, teen party toh banti hai na?”

Menaka and Danny’s lip lock in Arijit Lahiri’s Out Of Time!

Menaka Lalwani, who played a key role in the Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Miss Lovely, will next be seen in Arijit Lahiri’s Out Of Time opposite Danny Sura. Little did Menaka know she had to do a lip lock scene in the movie. And when she was informed, she and her co-star were slightly uncomfortable.

According to the sources, director Arijit explained Menaka and Danny the importance of kissing scene in the movie and they agreed to it. But they wanted privacy. Arijit understood their insecurities and asked his entire team, except a selected few, to leave the room. The shot was quickly okayed without any hassle.

The much expected movie’s cast had an amazing time shooting the film. They have shot at the spookiest place, a mansion built in the British era. Out Of Time is about a group of youngsters who plan a holiday and decide to spend the night at an old abandoned mansion, but they gets involved in a major mess.

Akshay Kumar is crazy off camera, says Sumeet Raghavan!

With a new TV show ‘Bade Door Se Aaye Hain’ on the anvil and a new movie Holiday in theatres, Sumeet Raghavan cannot stop beaming with delight.

The actor, who became a household name with ‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’ is back in TV after a break of over two years. He tells the new show is unique. “It’s the first of its kind. We have seen Jadoo and ET and we have seen Superman who help the poor and the weak. This show, on the other hand, is a comedy about an alien – something that has never happened in India earlier.”

‘Bade Door Se Aaye Hain,’ like most TV shows, is about a family … but quite a different one. “It is about a family of five from outer space. They have superpowers – they can stretch, run fast etc. But they are so far ahead of humans and so evolved that they have forgotten emotions. So you will see my younger brother telling me that something on the left side of his chest is pumping hard when a beautiful girl passes by; or my wife thinking her eyes are leaking when she is crying,” said Sumeet, whose favorite alien movie is the Oscar winning Independence Day directed by Rolan Emmerich.

Sumeet is pleased to be joining hands with his ‘Sarabhai’ producers Hats Off once again. “They had called me a couple of times after ‘Sarabhai’ but things could not work out due to various reasons. This show has a wonderful concept and is completely up my alley. The fact that Aatish Kapadia (director of the ‘Sarabhai’ series) is working on the show adds to the confidence,” he says. “Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai added a lot of credibility to my career as an actor. The love that was received is incredible. We had no inkling that the show would ever become so big. I was recently checking online and came across a website which rated it among 25 best TV shows ever across the world. That’s humbling,” he further added.

Unlike ‘SVS’ though, ‘Bade Door Se Aaye Hain,’ will have a “message that is delivered in a nice format,” he reveals.

Alongside his new TV show, Sumeet is also thrilled about his newest movie, Holiday. “When Vipul (Shah) had called me regarding the film, I was sitting idle and agreed to do the film. It was a great experience working with Akshay. That man is amazing. In front of the camera, he is a no-nonsense hardworking actor but the minute he is off the camera, he is crazy. He is a major prankster and plays games at sets.”

So all this while Anushka Sharma was missing from the pictures posted by the Dil Dhadakne Do team. But now, we at last get to see the pretty damsel looking all fresh and lovely as she gets her happy self snapped along with her team.

Rumors were that Ms Sharma was spending some quality time with her alleged cricketer boyfriend Virat Kohli, who had flown all the way to Barcelona in Spain just to be with his ladylove. The duos were spotted by a fan on the second floor of the hotel they had put up in. And while Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Riteish Sidhwani were updating their fans about there location by posting pictures on various social networking sites, Anushka was missing from all those selfies.

But, the latest picture posted by Priyanka Chopra finally sees Anushka Sharma all smiles as she posed for the click. But this time around, Ranveer Singh was missing in the frame. In the meantime, on the movie front, this is the last week wherein DDD will be shooting on a cruise, post which they will move to shooting on the land.

Many new producers… more opportunities, says Sidharth Malhotra!

Even as star kids continue to enjoy easy passes into acting careers in Bollywood, actor Sidharth Malhotra tells there are more than enough opportunities for youngsters whose families are not a part of the movie industry.

At the inauguration of a casting studio started by famous casting director Mukesh Chhabra (who was instrumental in Sidharth being cast in his next movie Ek Villain), Sidharth rejected the belief that newcomers with no family connections to the industry have a hard time finding a foothold, and declared, “I have got the best launch in the last three years; I got launched by Dharma Productions! I cannot say that outsiders are not making it!” Encouraging strugglers to see the brighter side, he further added, “There are so many new producers and a vast increase in the number of films being made, so now everyone is getting opportunities. Of course, nothing is easy but opportunities have increased. The rest depends on your talent.”

Success did not come easy for the Ek Villain actor either as he too had to go through a series of auditions to prove his talent before he finally got the break in Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year. He remembered, “I was shooting for My Name is Khan (as an assistant director) when Karan Johar observed Varun (Dhawan) and me. He made us audition not once but six times! He made us dance, act, cry and only when he truly believed that we had potential, he finalised us.” With a laugh, Sidharth reveals, “My first audition was terrible … I had to do the same audition four times just to convince them that I could do the job.”

Sidharth, who has been playing the good boy in his movies so far will be seen as a gangster in Ek Villain, and he thanked Mukesh for helping him with the role. Sidharth declared that he was able to pull of the role in a better way thanks to a workshop with Mukesh. He told, “Mukesh teaches a lot. He made us (Shraddha Kapoor and me) do crazy stuff during the workshops so that we could perform our characters better.”

The well-known casting couch might take a backseat in the days of professional casting agencies. Sidharth definitely believes the casting couch is old news. He told, “I think it (the casting couch) is very passé. I never had to experience anything like that. Maybe it happened ages ago. I don’t think anyone would spend so much money on another just for personal favors.”

The Kapoors come together for debutant Armaan Jain!

A lot of anticipation was built for the Lekar Hum Deewana Dil A. R. Rahman concert and at last yet another hero from the Kapoor clan, Armaan Jain made a mesmerizing entry on stage as he performed on Mawwali Qawwali and the crowd went mad cheering for this debutant. Inspite of all the cheering and support Armaan confessed of being bit anxious, “haven’t heard myself on mic for a long time, I am slight nervous. Thanks everyone for being here and supporting.”

Besides Armaan’s rocking dance it was AR Rahman’s live show that stole the show. At first Lekar Hum Deewana Dil’s (LHDD) director Arif Ali was sceptical if Rahman would agree to do the music. Rahman told “While telling me the story Arif started crying in the last 15 minutes so I knew this story is attached with him deep down within and I agreed to give music for the film.”

What made an interesting visual was to see the whole Kapoor Khaandaan together (sans Ranbir) under one roof. Imtiaz Ali, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Rishi, Rajiv & Randhir Lapoor launched the music CD of LHDD along with the whole cast. The lead actress of the movie Deeksha claimed to be on cloud9 as AR Rahman performed all the songs of her debut movie.

Karisma Kapoor awaits right script to create magic again!

It was in the 90′s when most of the hit Bollywood movies had Karisma Kapoor as the lead heroine. But post her wedding things seem to have changed completely. Acting in movies almost took a backseat for Kapoor until she decided to make a comeback with Dangerous Ishq in 2012. All that we can remember of Karisma’s public appearance in recent times is of ramp shows and launch events.

With the kind of films that she has done in the past it is often asked to her that when can the fans see more of Lolo on the big screen, to which she recently made a comment “as of now my kids are too small so I cannot give too much time to work, but if I come across a good script and I am offered a role I will do the film.”

Not just movies but just like younger sister Kareena Kapoor Khan we would love to see Karisma doing an item number for the wonderful dancer that she is. Besides she is also rumored to be going through a very rough patch in her wedding and is also said to have a new man in her life but when questioned about the same Karisma chooses to ignore. Sridevi to play princess in her next!

The sexy and very beautiful momma of two, Sridevi made a grand come back in English Vinglish, and despite the movie receiving critical acclaim and being a superhit, Sri took time to sign her send film. But nevertheless, she has finally done it.

The next movie would be in Tamil, and would be dubbed in Hindi. She will be seen in a princess avatar opposite Tamil superstar Vijay and Kannada star Sudeep. The untitled flick will be directed by Chimbu Devan.

Confirming these developments Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor told, “Yes, she is doing a film with the Tamil star Vijay. That’s all I can reveal at the moment.”

Sridevi had previously played a princess in Chandramukhi and Khuda Gawah.

Tiger Shroff in Remo D’Souza’s next!

After the sleeper success of his directorial endeavor, ABCD, Remo D’Souza has become a busy filmmaker. The dapper director who has become a celebrity thanks to his judging duties on the TV dance show, ‘Jhalak Dikhla Ja, is currently busy with his first star cast movie — ABCD 2 which stars Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor.

Remo reveals that his sequel has a different focus. “The previous film was the story of Vishnu sir, played by Prabhudeva but the sequel is the journey of a boy who takes his dance troupe from India to America. I wanted a brilliant actor and dancer and Varun is the right choice.”

Besides this film, buzz is that Remo is getting ready to make a movie with Tiger Shroff, who is presently riding high on the success of his Heropanti. “We are just talking about it; nothing is finalized as yet,” says Remo. Ask him if the Tiger film would also be a dance-based movie, Remo states, “In every film of mine, there will be dance. But if I take Tiger in the film, then it has to have dance and action.”

Remo is also planning to launch dancer-choreographer Salman Yusuf Khan as a hero in his own production. “I feel he can be an actor so I have decided to cast him in the film which I am producing. He is going to do great,” tells Remo. And that’s not all – he has an upcoming project with Karan Johar too. Remo says, “The formal announcement of the movie will be made soon. It’s an action story based on cars and racing.”

With four movie projects on hand, Remo has still found time to return to his TV show ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ for its soon-to-be-aired latest season. Remo tells, “I learn a lot on this show — I learnt how to bring perfection in your work from Madhuriji. I have learnt to become a confident filmmaker from Karan. I learn dance from these young kids.” And Remo will bring in new international dance forms like bolero and jitterbug. He concludes with a smile: “I am practicing these dance forms and Madhuri too is learning these forms.”

Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan’s night out!

Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan had a guys night out where the duo watched the sci-flick X-Men: Days of Future Past, together. And mind you, it was a late night show, at PVR Mumbai.

Music directors Vishal and Shekhar accompanied them.

Sr Bachchan posted about his experience of the movie. He posted, “COOOOOOOL !!! ‘X Men‘ at PVR .. pop corn, 3D glasses .. Abhishek, Vishal – Shekhar, Sameer, and the mad bong Sujoy.. what a fun ! (sic)” The veteran actor further tweeted, “I mean a 11:30 pm show .. just over .. effects and sound and creatives, impossible to perceive .. zapped !! (sic)”

Abhi took to the steering wheel driving them back home, while papa Bachchan posed for the media while seated inside the car. Both, father and son were dressed casually.

Vidya Balan's tribute to the cult Indian detective Karamchand!

Vidya Balan, plays the role of a lively detective in her forthcoming movie Bobby Jasoos. The multitalented actress has donned a variety of disguises in the movie which will definitely be a delight to watch. According to Vidya, her character is a tribute to the cult Indian detective Karamchand, which was played by veteran actor Pankaj Kapur.

Karamchand was the most popular Indian detective show which aired in the 1980s and also has the distinction of being the first of its kind. During a workshop for the movie, Vidya even acted like Karamchand and was tempted to call Bobby Karamchand's offspring. In the movie, there's a dialogue which pays tribute to Karamchand and his assistant Kitty. Vidya recently met Pankaj Kapur at his birthday party hosted by wife Supriya Pathak.

Bobby Jasoos, slated to release on July 4, is set in Hyderabad and shows Vidya speaking Hyderabadi language effortlessly. Directed by Samar Shaikh, the movie also features Ali Fazal, Supriya, Tanvi Azmi among others.

New comer Sapna Pabbi to Debut in Bollywood!

Sapna Pabbi, most commonly known as Anil Kapoor's doting daughter in the television series 24 will soon be debuting in Bollywood. She has bagged the role of the lead in John Abraham's production project Satra Ko Shaadi.

After this, we hear that Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt have signed a three movie deal with Sapna. The first movie will be directed by Karan Darra, who is well known as Mohit Suri's assistant. The movie which is a love story is slated to go on floors by next week. The movie also stars Ali Fazal and Gurmeet Chaudhary.

As for Satra Ko Shaadi, the film is being made by John Abraham, Shoojit Sircar and UTV Motion Pictures. The film will mark the debut of Barun Sobti and Sapna Pabbi. It is slated for a 2015 release.
