Sonal Chauhan is a ‘3G’ Singer!

Sonal Chauhan is the newest actress to turn singer. She has sung a song in her upcoming movie "3G" and thanks music composer Mithoon for encouraging her by giving this opportunity.

"It was a very good experience and I would like to thank Mithoon for it because he encouraged me a lot. I have always been a big fan of his music. I think encouragement was necessary because I am not professionally trained in music," the 27-year-old told.

Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh admits he is "extremely fond" of his "3G" co-star Sonal Chauhan. He has hinted that he has proposed to her and is awaiting her response.

"For all asking... I really like and am extremely fond of @sonalchauhan7. While we're very close friends, we're not in a relationship," posted Neil.

"She's taking her time to decide and I respect that. Nothing is more to say beyond that. Everything else is just speculation," he added.

The actress, who made her Bollywood debut with "Jannat", is reportedly annoyed with reports of a serious relationship with Neil.

The twosome enjoyed a 45-day shooting schedule together for "3G" in Fiji.

Actors Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sonal Chauhan are busy shooting "3G" in Fiji, and are thoroughly enjoying the experience.

"This is the first movie I'm doing without a single day's break. Both @sonalchauhan7 &I have been shooting non stop and will continue to do so," Neil posted.

"Honestly I don't think we want a break. It’s a fun set," the 30-year-old added.

Actress Sonal Chauhan and Neil Nitin Mukesh together are painting the town red, hanging out at various places every now and then. However, the actress makes it clear that the two are close friends and like to hang out together.

Talking to a magazine, Sonal Chauhan got candid about her alleged link-up with Neil Nitin Mukesh. She denies dating the actor, though she claims to be “goof friends” with him.

Answering about the PDA snaps with Neil, Sonal tells, “This is how people of my age pose for pictures to put up on social networking sites. That’s how everyone behaves.”

Sonal and Neil will be seen in a supernatural thriller. Rumors have it that it was Neil who helped her bag the movie.

Sonal Chauhan tells she is very much single, shooting down reports that she is dating actor Neil Nitin Mukesh.

"Yes guys as of now... I am single n loving it :-) n as far as my next film is concerned, will share the news very soon," Sonal cleared the rumour through Twitter.

The actress made her film debut with "Jannat" in 2008.

Sonal Chauhan says, modeling just helped me to become camera friendly!

Many believe that modeling is shortcut to Bollywood but model turned actress Sonal Chauhan feels the only advantage of modeling is that it makes a person camera friendly.

The 24-year-old made her debut in "Jannat". She won the Miss World Tourism title in 2005.

"Modeling helps in a way ... it allows us to be comfortable in front of the camera. One is confident and doesn't have to fear the camera or wonder what to do and how to do. So, I think it is an advantage to be a model," Sonal said.

As there is no guarantee that a successful model can make it big in Bollywood but for their glamorous image, they do get stereotyped. Sonal doesn't agree.

"Every actor has a journey to take and they improve with time... They take time to explore. After spending good years in the industry, doing varied roles, they know what they fit into. As a model, you too can explore and decide what you want to do," she told.

Sonal doesn't from movie background. Indeed, she landed in Bollywood by sheer chance as Kunal Deshmukh, director of "Jannat", spotted her at a restaurant in Mumbai.

"Bollywood wasn't on my mind but I was always mesmerized by Bollywood. So when I moved to Mumbai, I used to get on/off Bollywood offers, but nothing exciting, till Kunal saw me and within a few days, I got my first movie project," she told. "It just happened."

Sonal had been away from Bollywood for more than two years as she was carrying out her studies. In between she made her debut in a Telugu and a Kannada movie.

Now the actress is back in "Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap" and is all praise for his co-star Amitabh Bachchan.

"The very fact that I got to work with Big B, at such an early age of my career is simply fantastic. I just hope that one day I get to work with him again. There was so much to learn from him, he is not just a great actor, but a wonderful human being as well," she told.

What role is being offered to her these days?

The actress tells these are very similar to 'Jannat' roles. She has signed two new projects, but is not revealing details.
