'Krrish 3' sequel soon but a fresh script outside the "Krrish" franchise, says Rakesh Roshan!

Actor-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan told, he is planning a "Krrish 3" sequel but in future will work with Hrithik on a fresh script outside the "Krrish" franchise.

"I'm currently not working on a film outside the 'Krrish' franchise with Hrithik, but I will do a film in the future. I would love to direct him in a fresh script as soon as I'm relieved with this franchise," Rakesh Roshan said journalists here.

The filmmaker, known for directing movies such as "Khoon Bhari Maang" and "Karan Arjun", launched Hrithik with hit movie "Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai" in 2000.

"I will start working on the sequel soon. Due to public demand, we may include some sidekick characters as well," told Rakesh Roshan.

Accompanied by Hrithik and cinematographer Tirru, senior Roshan was here to celebrate the success of "Krrish 3", which has been received well in Tamil Nadu.

Even though SRK and Hrithik Roshan are best of friends, rumors that Shah Rukh Khan will make a special appearance in Krrrish3 have been quashed by none other than Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan.

SRK already made a special appearance once earlier in an item song for the Roshan’s movie Krazzy4 and he certainly wont do a cameo for his buddy’s movie this time around.

The director of the movie, Rakesh Roshan told in an interview, “There is no talk of SRK doing a cameo in KRRISH 3,”.

However SRK will be helping the Roshans with the special effects of the movie as the effects of his earlier movie RA.ONE were simply superb.

Recreate Mumbai in Hyderabad for Krrish sequel

Rakesh Roshan’s sequel to Krrish, is all set to go on floors on October. But this time, the shoot would take place in Hyderabad and not in Mumbai. The set to be finished by late September has been designed to resemble a business hub in Mumbai so that Hrithik can shoot in the very places without the crowds hounding him while he performs his stunts.

The script of the movie requires Hrithik Roshan, the lead actor who plays a superhero to perform hi-octane stunts in the busy streets of Mumbai.

“Hrithik cannot shoot amidst heavy Mumbai traffic. This would require stopping traffic.
The entire city would then come to a halt. Thus shooting in the real streets of Mumbai is practically impossible. Hence, the filmmakers required to have a set erected which would represent Mumbai,” disclosed a source.

“The idea is to recreate the posh Bandra Kurla Complex. Rakesh Roshan first went to ND studio in Karjat but decided it was not possible to go ahead with the design there.

The design would have required him to build roads in the studio, which was not feasible. Plus he was also looking at reducing the production cost as much as possible and building a set in Mumbai would be far more expensive than building one in Hyderabad,” tells the source.
