We had lately reported that Priyanka Chopra was supposed to
start shooting for her debut production project Madamji with Madhur Bhandarkar
in December. Priyanka will star as a dancer who goes on to make it big in
politics in the movie. While everything has been finalized for the movie, the
one thing that Madhur and Priyanka are facing issues with is the schedule.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani in which Priyanka is
playing the role of Kashibai got extended by 15 days, and poor Priyanka had to
use Madamji's dates to cover up. Also, she fell sick for a while, which cause
another week's delay. To make matters worse for Madhur, Priyanka recently
signed a deal with an American network and she will have to spend two months in
America as
well. This long list of events has prompted Madhur to push Madamji to April as he
wants to shoot without a break because he doesn't want Priyanka's character's
story to be interrupted.
