Shah Rukh Khan’s useful tips on romance!

Shah Rukh Khan, who is considered Bollywood's unquestionable king of romance, had some valuable tips on romance to share on his recent visit to the capital.

Shah Rukh has featured in a string of romantic movies like "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge", "Dil To Pagal Hai", "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" and "Kal Ho Naa Ho" in his over two-decade career in Hindi filmdom.

Here's what he had to say:
- Never disrespect a woman in words, action or spirit.
- You should always take care of small things like opening the door for a lady and never sit before she sits.
- Learn to be gentle with a woman.
- I never abuse in front of a woman and try not to be aggressive with a woman or even in front of her.

- A real man is one who can touch his feminity. I find my masculinity in the fact that I can touch my feminine side.

If art provocates crimes against women , Ajanta-Ellora and "Kamasutra" must be banned, says Priyanka Chopra!

If art provocates crimes against women, historic sites like Ajanta-Ellora and Vatsayana's "Kamasutra" must be banned, tells Indian actress Priyanka Chopra, who believes cinema is an "art" too and it should not be blamed for the rising crimes against women in the nation.

"I feel people are becoming less tolerant and more judgemental. Hindi films are meant for entertainment...If people think songs and films are causing an increase in rapes, why not first shut Ajanta-Ellora? We are a land of the 'Kamasutra'...let's ban books," told Priyanka.

"Sculpting is an art, poetry is an art, filmmaking is an art... We have the freedom of speech in our country, and we also have a system of film certification. Follow the law! If a film has been given the 'A' certificate, why let children go for it? There's lawlessness here. I feel a filmmaker should just make what he wants to," Priyanka told at the Agenda Aaj Tak conclave.

The portrayal of women in Hindi cinema and the viability of item songs is always questioned. She received an applause for speaking her mind out on the issue brought up every time that a rape case comes up.

But Priyanka, who backs girl child empwerment via diffferent campaigns, tells violation against women will only reduce when "laws will be implemented".

"We have strict laws now, but there's no implementation. There's fearlessness," told the actress, who has grooved to item songs like "Babli badmaash" and "Ram chahe leela".

"Film industry is for entertainment, like music and books. If they are fiction, they are fiction, they should not be taken so seriously. Any form of art must not be made responsible to change society. Films can't change the society, the government leads society and government has to implement laws to bring change," further added the former beauty queen.

I want to see Salman and Katrina together in real life, says Aamir Khan!

Actor Aamir Khan, who is very good friends with Salman Khan, Thursday told he was tired of asking the latter to get married and that he would like to see Katrina and Salman together in real life.

"I have been telling him (Salman) for so long to get married but he is not listening to me. Maybe if someone else (looking at Katrina) requests him, he may agree to it. I want to see Katrina and Salman together in real life," Aamir told at a press conference held to launch the title song of "Dhoom 3".

He asked Katrina: "Have you ever asked him?" Katrina was seen blushing.

'Ram-Leela' to release as per schedule, court recalls order!

A Delhi court Wednesday recalled its order restraining Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and EROS International Media Limited from using the title "Ram-leela" for their yet-to-be-released film starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

The film is scheduled to be released Nov 15.

Additional District Judge A.S. Jayachandra recalled Tuesday's order saying he committed a mistake by passing the decision as he was not informed by the counsel for plaintiffs that the Delhi High Court has already refused to ban the release of the film.

Advocate Amit Sibal, appearing for Eros International Media Ltd, placed before the court the high court order which had previously refused to ban the movie and imposed a cost of Rs.50,000 on an NGO which had moved the plea against the movie.

Sibal also showed the judge the full title of the movie "Ram-leela: Goliyon Ki Rasleela".

The court's order Tuesday came on a suit filed by six petitioners, including Prabhu Samaj Dharmik Ram Leela Committee, saying the film hurt religious sentiments of Hindus as it contains sex, violence and vulgarity.

The plea told the word "Ram Leela" is associated with Lord Rama and people will watch this movie with an expectation that it would be related to his life but the film will hurt their sentiments.

It also told the name of the movie should be changed as it has nothing to do with mythology and that it was misleading.

The title "Ram-leela", understood by Hindus as an enactment of the life and story of Lord Rama, was nowhere doing the same. On the contrary, the film was portraying sex, violence and vulgarity, which was deeply hurting religious sentiments and feelings of Hindus, the petitioners told.

"Today, after spending 21 days in one of the toughest jails in the country and having been put under the radar for no fault of his Sooraj has grown up. It is being implied that I have pulled strings to get my son out of jail on bail. Tell me if I was so powerful why would I have allowed my son to languish in Arthur Road jail for 21 days?"

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has explained that his forthcoming movie "Ram-leela" is inspired by and based on William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" and that it has nothing to do with either Indian myths "Ramleela" or Lord Krishna's 'Rasleela'.

Bhansali, who has produced and directed the movie, Wednesday sought to set the record straight about the film's content in the wake of a Delhi court staying its scheduled Nov 15 release on a plea that the film hurts the religious sentiments of Hindus as it contains sex, violence and vulgarity.

"It appears that some misinformation is being carried out regarding the said film ('Ram-leela') which we would like to clarify and state that the said film is inspired and based on William Shakespeare's work 'Romeo and Juliet'.  The said film is neither related to 'Ramleela' folklore/traditional performance associated with Lord Ram nor related to 'Rasleela' associated with Lord Krishna. Ram, the character in the said film does not depict or resemble Lord Rama in any manner," read a declaration issued on behalf of Bhansali.

The plea also told the word "Ram-leela" is associated with Lord Rama and people will also watch the movie with an expectation that it would be related to his life, but the film will hurt their sentiments.

The petitioners demanded that the film's title be changed.

According to Bhansali, the movie "neither intends nor attempts to insult, wound or outrage the religion, religious feelings or religious beliefs of any class of citizens of India".

"We trust that this allays, clarifies and sets at rest all apprehensions, doubts and misgivings regarding the told film," the statement further read.
