Today Ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh has passed away around 8.00 am in Lilavati Hospital Mumai, due to Brain Hemorrhage.
Every celebrity from music world has stunned to know about the sad demise of Ghazal singer Jagjit Singh.
Recently legendary ghazal singer Jagjit Singh has given his voice to film Khushiyaan’s Punjabi ‘Shabad’.
The 71-year-old Singh was in the ICU, Lilavati Hospital for undergoing emergency surgery for brain hemorrhage.
Jagjit Singh and maestro Ghulam Ali were scheduled to perform at a concert in Shanmukhananda Hall in central Mumbai. The performance was cancelled.
Singh has been suffering from high blood pressure since the past few years.
Known as 'Ghazal King' of India, Jagjit Singh, and his wife Chitra are considered the pioneers of modern ghazal singing in the country.
Film Khushiyaan’s director Tirlok Malik and team condole on the sad demise of Jagjitji and pray for his soul peace.
