Sri-Lankan beauty, Jacqueline Fernandez is presently one of the hottest heroines in Bollywood nowadays, but what you didn’t know was that this beautiful lass was on the verge of quitting Bollywood sometime back.

When the actress landed in Mumbai, four years back she just knew four words of Hindi which was ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. That also because it was one of Shahrukh Khan’s hit film and she stumped most taxi drivers by repeating these four words over and over again. But that was one of the rare happy moments during her early years in Mumbai.

Jacqueline came to India with no godfather and her first couples of films, ‘Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai’ and ‘Aladdin’ were absolute duds in the box office. This affected her career a lot and she had no good projects coming her way for nearly a year. Though she knew that most newcomers face similar problem, the whole waiting period was very nerve wrecking and she was seriously considering packing her bags and going back.

Her only emotional support was a close group of friends who helped her through the entire suffering. Eventually she got an opportunity to do an item number in ‘Houseful 2’, and lately a single heroine in the film ‘Murder 2’, which fared really well in the box office.
