Actor Amitabh Bachchan visited the Ajmer Sharif Dargah of Sufi saint Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti on Monday.
He was visiting the dargah after 40 years and presented the traditional Chadder and prayed for his wishes to come true.

"Amitabhji has come after 40 years to this dargah, and I opened the thread which he had tied 40 years ago. And he completed that wish and that thread has been placed inside Dargah and then he tied a new thread for some more peace and harmony," told Qutubuddin Sakhi, cleric at the Dargah.
Bachchan is said to have visited the shrine to seek blessings for his daughter-in-law Aishwariya Rai Bachchan who is in an advanced phase of pregnancy.
