With the successful completion of his film, ‘Breakaway’, Akshay Kumar has successfully become the first Bollywood producer to truly endeavor into Hollywood
According to Akshay, ‘Breakaway’ is about the struggles of an Indian family whose son wants to get into white dominated sport of Ice Hockey and make it into the big league. Actually the hero, Vinay is a really good ice hockey player in real life.
Akshay is leaving no stones unturned to ensure that masses enjoy his film. The music of the movie is scored by Akshay’s favourite, Rhythm Dhol Bass (RDB) and Sandeep Chowta. It also features music videos by Ludacris, Drake and Akshay Kumar too.
The tale of this movie is written by Jeff Schechter and Ajay Virmani and is directed by Robert Lieberman. Unfortunately, Akshay Kumar will be seen only in a cameo.
Akshay is very thrilled about this film and is treating it like a full on Hollywood movie. More than 3500 prints is going to be released and the movie will also be showcased at the Toronto Film Festival on September 10th, this year.
The Indian version of the movie is called ‘Speedy Singhs’ and both the movies will be released on September 30th.
