The film “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” had a special scene which involves the four leads Hrithik, Katrina, Farhan and Abhay taking part in the Tomatina festival of Spain where people throw tomatoes at each other.
The Tomatina Festival that takes place in the month of August was recreated for the shoot of the Zindagi Na Milege Dobara .The scene was shot inBunyol , Valencia , Spain .. For the Tomatina scene 24 tonnes of tomato squash was used and Zoya ended up spending a whopping 1 crore on just the tomatoes!
Zoya tells, “We had a blast shooting for this sequence but it wasn’t all that hunky-dory. It was a logistical nightmare for the producer. We shot in the same location where the festival actually takes place and we had to shut down the town for it. The residents of Bunyol were very co-operative and hospitable and in turn they did not mind celebrating Tomatina twice last year, once forSpain and once for the cast of Zindagi Na Milege Dobara.
