Sanjay Suri and Onir’s I AM – a pathbreaking film in Hindi Cinema

After being bestowed with the David Flint Honorary Award For Promoting Human Rights, Awarded the Best in Asian Cinema (NETPAC) at the International Film Festival of Kerala '2010 Sanjay Suri and Onir’s I AM went on to win the Audience Choice Award, Best Film, River To River Film Festival, Florence ‘2010 and was the opening film at the IVIEW Engendered Film Festival in NEW YORK Sept 2010 and the London Asian Film Festival.
The film also opened to impressive reviews back on home territory, being touted as a landmark movie of major significance –Tackling contemporary and complex issues in an unnerving yet poignant manner I AM has the industry impressed.

Says acclaimed critic Taran Adarsh “ I AM is a landmark film that has four pertinent stories to tell, raises questions that haven't been solicited before. I AM, based on true stories and bona fide incidents, entertains, engages and enriches those thirsting for intelligent, sensible cinema. The first of its kind crowd sourced mainstream Hindi film co produced by over 400 people from 35 cities across the world ,Sanjay Suri and Onir’s I AM is a tale of 4 stories woven together that takes audiences through issues and dilemmas that bruise the modern Indian society.
Starring Juhi Chawla, Rahul Bose, Nandita Das, Sanjay Suri, , Purab Kohli, Radhika Apte, Shernaz Patel, Abhimanyu Singh, Arjun Mathur ,Manisha Koirala , Anurag Kashyap and Anurag Basu the film has released  in Australia , New Zealand and India.
