Nikhil Dwivedi is riding high on the rave reviews he’s received for his latest film Shor In the City –where the actor plays Ramesh,a typical waster who throngs the streets of Mumbai looking to make a quick buck.
Elated with the response his performance has received says Nikhil “Any honest actor will tell you that he’s into this profession, not for fancy cars or bungalows, but appreciation. Because with appreciation, comes respect”
Always pushing the envelope, Nikhil wanted for his audience to sit up and take notice after his role in Raavan which was also critically appreciated and jumped at the offer when Shor came his way.
“Even though Raavan flopped, it made people notice me. With Shor... I have gone one step further. It’s an honest film and you can see the intent of the director from the casting. I want to be a part of good scripts. I’m just trying to make my way up, hits will follow!” adds Nikhil.
For now Nikhil Dwivedi has been signed on as the lead in the remake of Arjun – the cult Sunny Deol starrer .
