Mumbai gets its 1st Casino!

Inder Kumar’s ‘DoubleDhamaal’ gets a huge casino set for a whopping budget of Rs1.5 crores!

The ‘DoubleDhamaal’ team just gave Mumbai its first Casino! News is that the unit, which is currently shooting in Mumbai, required a Casino’s backdrop for a particular segment of the shoot.

Naturally, director Indra Kumar wants to leave no stone unturned for the sequel to his successful movie ‘Dhamaal’. So he immediately put his team to work and decided to build a huge, lavish set in Mehboob Studios, Bandra. The talented director looked into every minute detailing of the set as he wanted it to look as extravagant and life-like as possible.

The look of the casino has been modeled after some of the best casinos in the world! Insiders from the set reveal that the setlooked very authentic complete with real roulette and poker tables along with slot machines! In fact, the budget of this lavish set was a whopping Rs1.5crores!

Reliance Entertainment and Maruti Intenational’s‘Double Dhamaal’ boasts of a huge star cast comprising of Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Ashish Chowdhry, Javed Jaffery, Kangana Ranaut and Mallika Sherawat. The movie hits screens on 24th June, 2011!
