Superstar Amitabh Bachchan tells he is shocked to hear about star cricketer Yuvraj Singh's illness and prays for his well being.

"Shocked to learn of Yuvraj Singh down with cancer...Yuvraj if you read this, know that we all pray for you…All shall and will be well," Amitabh posted on his Twitter page.

Yuvraj has been diagnosed with a malignant tumour in his lung and is currently undergoing chemotherapy at the Cancer Research Institute in Boston, US.

Deepika Padukone’s love story with Nihar Pandya, it seems that her first guy will now make it to the sliver screen. The movie will be directed by Prashant Chadda. And guess who the actor is?? Well, it’s none other than Nihar Pandya himself.

Director Chadda told, “Nihar is like my brother. I was very close to Deepika as well once upon a time. In fact, I had launched her in a music video. Everybody knows how she walked out of Nihar’s life for Ranbir. Nihar was heartbroken. He had done everything by the book. He looked after her for three-and-a-half-years. In fact Deepika stayed in Nihar’s house with his parents for three years.”

It all started back in 2005, in an acting institution where Deepika and Nihar fell in love. Deepika always maintained the “just friends” tag. However, things were crystal clear when Nihar threw a lavish party for Deepika on her birthday.

Things were going great between the couple until Ranbir Kapoor made his entry.

“Nobody knows that Deepika actually came crying back to Nihar after breaking up with Ranbir the first time. Nihar went looking for Ranbir, intercepted his car and asked him what he was doing with Deepika. Ranbir shot back, ‘Ask your girlfriend that’. Even after all this, Nihar took Deepika back. And then the same thing happened with Yuvraaj Singh,” revealed Chaddha.

Though the story is facing opposition from certain quarters, yet Chaddha is obstinate on making the movie. “I owe it to Nihar.” ended the filmmaker.

Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh is one of the most suitable bachelors in the country and has been linked with several women in the past. But the 29-year-old tells he wants to wait for someone who is open-minded and understanding and does not marry him for his popularity.

Entertainingly, he told this in a tête-à-tête with his once-rumored girlfriend, actress Preity Zinta, on her celebrity chat show Up Close and Personal With PZ.

'I want someone who has an open mind to understand the background I come from,' he told. 'I don't want anyone to marry me for the fact that I play for India or due to my popularity.'

He drew attention to the fact that he ran a packed schedule. 'She needs to be understanding given the fact that I would be traveling most of the time due to my game. So someone who comes from a similar background would be ideal,' told Yuvraj.

Yuvraj is in no hurry. 'The fact that I have seen my parents go through a divorce made me learn that I shouldn't marry too early in life and only settle down with someone when I feel it's the right time,' he told.

Even though his wedding plans are not in place, Yuvraj is sure that if he ever has a son, he won't let him play cricket.

'Never,' he told. 'I would, in fact, request him to stay away from the game or else I will break his legs, because in a country like India there is too much pressure on cricketers and expectations are impractical.'

He should know. He has been playing for the Indian cricket team since 2000.

Yuvraj turned into a naughty mood when Preity asked him how he felt about being linked up with her.

'Honestly it felt great to be rumored to have an affair with you. But, unluckily, it wasn't true. And you were dating someone else at that time and I was made the scapegoat in the whole thing,' he said Preity in the episode of celebrity chat show Up Close and Personal With PZ.

Bollywood and the cricket world are abuzz with the news of Yuvraj Singh and Arpita Khan’s proximity. Arpita is superstar Salman Khan’s sister, and we heard that Yuvi and Arpita have gelled truly well, and are together regularly. Freshly the pair was seen in a well-known nightclub located in Delhi. But when Shabnam Singh, Yuvraj’s mother was enquired of Arpita and Yuvraj’s relationship, she told that Yuvi concentrates on his career only, and it’s absolutely rubbish news, made up by the media.

She also told that in the nightclub, Yuvraj went with his friends, and Arpita too joined the group. It’s totally regrettable, that all these stories are getting made up by media for no reasons. She pointed out that media never stresses on the good things done by Yuvraj like he sponsored 1000 children’s education, but only the ugly things which are totally unjustifiable. Salman and Yuvraj are great friends; also Yuvi calls Salman his elder brother. So it’s very natural for Arpita to come and mix with Yuvi and friends. There is no relationship in between them.

Shabnam also told that Yuvraj won’t get involved in this insignificant affairs, and even if he says the truth then also media won’t believe it. So it’s of no use to give an explanation.
