Recently there were rumors of Ashmit making a wild card entry in a reality dance show, but he has put such rumors to rest by declaring himself that he is going to take over the charge of hosting "Superdude" season two. Previously he had been a part of the show "Superstud" on Bindass Channel. He always wants to take part in such reality shows since that helps to be himself and connect to the audience in a closer way than in movies. The shooting for "Superdude" is going to start very soon, told Ashmit.

The show will be aired from October onwards this year and Ashmit will be a superdude and teach 13 contestants how to woo women and how to sweep the girls out of floor! Pakistani actress Veena Malik and Riya Sen, known for their enmity, courtesy Ashmit Patel, are playing lead roles in "Zindagi 50-50", but they shot their scenes independently. Now director Rajeev Ruia wants them to shoot an item number together for the film.

Riya, an ex-girlfriend of Ashmit, was not really happy sharing the screen space with Veena who came closer to the actor when they participated in fourth season of the reality show "Bigg Boss".

"Both Veena and Riya had problems with each other. They didn't want to face each other. So I had to schedule two different shoots for both Veena and Riya. I am done with Veena's shoot and presently we are busy with Riya's shoot," Ruia told IANS.

But now he wants them to shoot together for an item number.

"After finishing the entire film, I have decided to direct an item song with Veena and Riya. I will try my best to convince both of them for the item number," told Ruia.

"Zindagi 50-50" is about the lives of three struggling girls and the cast also includes Supriya Kumari, Rajpal Yadav, Arya Babbar and Rajan Verma. While Veena plays a sex worker, Riya will be seen as a junior artist in it.

Before casting Veena, Ruia had signed Nisha Kothari.

"After watching Veena in 'Bigg Boss', I thought she will be perfect as a sex worker and will justify the role. So I asked Veena to replace Nisha Kothari," he told.

Aggressive Ashmit Patel breaks nose of Imran’s friend in a night club!

The newest inclusion into the list of Bollywood drunken brawls is actor Ashmit Patel – a brother of actress Ameesha Patel.

Report has it that Ashmit Patel beat up one of Imran Khan’s close buddy and makeup man, Vicky in the wee hours of Saturday, at around 2.15 am precisely. Vicky was immediately rush to a hospital and has been diagnosed with a fractured nose, apart from other superficial bruises.

It all started when Ashmit began to poke Vicky and his friend Amin, for no particular reason. According to a close source, “Vicky does not know Ashmit, neither professionally nor at a personal level.”

On questioning Patel’s actions, the actor lost his cool and started bashing up Vicky. Ashmit wasn’t alone. Very soon, 12-15 of his friends joined him in the fight. It was Vicky’s girlfriend who finally called the bouncers for help out.

A witness reveals, “But it was too late. Pooja was shocked seeing Vicky bleeding the way he was,”

Further the witness included, “Ashmit was in a very aggressive mood. He was trying to bully people in the nightclub. He just wanted violence.”

A source very close to Vicky tells, “Vicky lost at least three-four litre of blood. His journey from Parel to Borivali made him extremely groggy. Pooja stayed with Vicky, until he was finally operated in a hospital in Borivali.”

Imran Khan’s official representative, on being informed about the incident, told, “What happened is extremely unfortunate. Imran is not in town. And he doesn’t know about this. But if he were here, he would have been very upset. Vicky is very close to him. Imran and Vicky have been working together since Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na. They are also extremely close friends.”

If all this is true, we sincerely hope a strict action is taken against the actor.

Veena Malik’s 'Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai' in bollywood!

Pakistani actress Veena Malik, one of the Bigg Boss Season 4 contestants, is all set to make her Bollywood first appearance.

The official statement in this regard was made at an event in Mumbai, Geo News reported.

Her debut film has been titled 'Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai', and buzz suggests that Veena will be playing a double role in the film.

Veena's Bollywood debut does not come as a surprise since Bigg Boss earned her a substantial fan base in India.

She has been in news for her tricks and closeness with inmate Ashmit Patel in the Bigg Boss house.

Her debut film will be directed by Aanand Balraj, the younger brother of Deepak Balraj, who directed the film Hafta Bandh.

Aanand is making his directorial debut with this movie. He was previously an actor and was seen in various short roles in the Subhash Ghai's films like Ram Lakhan, Khalnaayak, Saudgar and Pardes.
