Katrina Kaif has become very fond of her new co-star Shahrukh Khan. The actress just can’t stop admiring him and recently at the press meet for their forthcoming movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan, she spoke about how Shahrukh is a total gentleman.
Katrina Kaif told, “He is very gentlemanly. He will always open the door for you. If you come in, he’ll stand up and he always pays attention to the small things.”
She further added: “When we were shooting the song ‘Ishq Shava’ (for JTHJ), it was freezing cold. As soon as it was called cut, he would make sure I had a blanket. You don’t see that a lot these days. Gentlemanly behavior has gone out of fashion, so it’s nice to see it.”
Despite this, Katrina Kaif told that she is sad because the Switzerland song planed for Jab Tak Hai Jaan could not be shot. She also said that 12 saris were readied for the track.
Katrina Kaif told: “Personally, I think it was a little bit sad, it was a little bit emotional for us that we didn’t get to do it. Yashji (Chopra) kept on coming up to me and saying that it’s not going to be a shoot, it’s going to be a party, we are not working.”
Plans to shoot the song have been cancelled after Yash Chopra’s death. He died of multi-organ failure Oct 21.
“We had actually done the entire costume fittings, there were 12 saris which Manish (Malhotra) had made, and Yashji saw each one of them. He had also planned a sequence in the water (in freezing cold) and we were laughing about it. He said now we will just go to Switzerland and party,” added Katrina
