Sonam’s middle finger gesture in film Players raises quite a few eyebrows!

Abbas-Mustan’s forthcoming movie Players has Sonam Kapoor showing off her middle finger while driving her car. This has raised quite a few eyebrows. But what’s interesting is that Sonam’s this gesticulation has not been noticed censor board.

Well, while some of the people from the industry wonder what went wrong with the otherwise watchful censor board officials, a few of them feel that Sonam Kapoor should be very careful with all her public gestures as she is considered the youth icon of the country.

If sources are to be believed, the CEO of the censor board, Pankaja Thakur was absent while the scene having Sonam showing her middle finger was passed.

“Pankaja was on leave last week when the Players trailer was submitted. The regional officer JP Singh passed the scene, apparently without knowing its relevance,” told the source.

Say’s the director of the movie, “Whatever is seen in promo is situational in film.”
